72 Ranchero.

I picked up this 72 Ranchero in a trade in 2004.  At the time I had a yard full of other more important projects so I decided to sell it in 2005.

When I acquired it, it had fairly recent front end work. Brake pads, rotors, calipers, bushings, bearings, etc.  Its also a fresh rebuild on the top side of the engine.  It was powered by a 400 cubic inch big block backed by an automatic.  It had the heads reworked, a Comp Cams 292 cam & lifter set installed, and an Edelbrock Streetmaster single plane intake topped by a Holley carb.  Exhaust gasses flowed out long tube headers into dual exhaust with turbo mufflers.  It sounded nice.  It didn’t take long to sell, a guy drove up on Thanksgiving Day 2005 to pick it up.
